The following photos, or images very much like them, have appeared in (amongst others): Rolling Stone, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Photo District News, Travel & Leisure, Food & Wine, Interiors, and L'Espresso (which is, I gather, the Italian equivalent of Newsweek, and where my landscape was enhanced by the superimposed image of a colossal blonde nude).
I have done headshots for a Hollywood actress, product shots for a design store in SoHo, have never shot a Bar Mitzvah, and would refuse to shoot a wedding.
Assuming you are not getting Bar Mitzvahed or married (both of them admirable activities, but I'm not going to be there), I shall happily create images for you at competitive rates. My images look particularly nice between words, and should you require words I can produce them as well.
My words look very much like what you are reading now. They have recently won a bunch of awards. They have appeared in all of the above publications, and many others, including Grand Street, Wired, Spin, The Village Voice, Details, Conde Nast Traveler, and Saturday Night. (I am particularly fond of a piece that caused that last magazine -- Canada's oldest and most respected -- to be pulled from news stands across the Rocky Mountains. Callers to national radio shows implied that if I ever showed my face in the West again, I would be forcibly injected with mad cow disease. The piece went on to win a National Magazine Award, and if you send me encouraging comments I might just post it on this site some day.)
